Our Clubs
Actively engage our students into specific financial topics in a club based environment, encouraging a positve, collobrative working where students can learn from their student leaders and participate in their own research to teach their peers.
In the Real Estate Club at Scituate High School, we focus on passive Real Estate investing strategies and wealth creation, while providing insight into specific career paths in this field.
In the Global Economics Club at Scituate High School, we learn about macro/microeconomic topics by analyzing current events, to stay informed about changing economic state of the world.
In the Finance club at Scituate High School, we delve into budgeting and investing through stock market analysis and pitching , accompanied by a real life stock market game.

Basics of Investing - September 2023
We are proud to kick off the 2023 school year with Andrew Blanchard from Baystate Financial. In this event, students learned about various investment vehicles and strategies, as well as how they can get started investing right away and career entrance opportunities in finance. The FLY team was able to create a stock market to give students an opportunity to test their knowledge from the event and win prizes as incentive. Thank you to SHORE non-profit for funding this event for over 40 students of our community.
Investing in Real Estate - December 2023
Keeping the momentum from the previous event, our December event had an impressive turnout of over 60 students. FLY was honored to bring in 29-year-old former real estate Lior Rozhansky who recently founded his own private equity real estate firm, FLORA Capital. Rozhansky was a great personality and shined light on the feasibility of buying real estate when you’re young. Going into this event, our team set goals to give students insight into the power of real estate. Introducing students on the principles of real estate investing, we were able to reveal how real estate investments can be a viable and empowering option for your financial future. Founder Parker Hausmann commented that “FLY was able to give students insight into the power of real estate as a wealth building a wealth building tool and avenue to reach success". According to Founder Jake O’Malley, he hopes to include “younger speakers in these events to show students that anything is possible when you are young". The FLY Foundation would like to thank SHORE non-profit for funding this event for the students of our community!
Entrepreneurship Masterclass - January 2024
Starting the new year off strong, FLY hosted its 3rd event on January 24th, focusing on the importance of entrepreneurship in achieving financial freedom. FLY welcomed in young and ambitious entrepreneur Gavin Larnard, founder of TECHRUPT Innovations, an influencer startup acceleration and financial literacy social media personality with over 800,000 thousand followers! Accompanied by a plentiful amount of delicious Chick-FIl-A courteously donated by Peak Fire Protection, students were able to listen to Gavin’s journey and practice using their entrepreneurial mindsets with our Rocket Pitch game! Overall, this event provided students with a great opportunity to learn essential lessons about business and entrepreneurship and for students to learn from a young entrepreneur who started his journey in high school.
